Phay Halsackda

Phay Halsackda is from Laos, and came to England at the age of 8. She studied at The Royal School of Needlework and learnt traditional skills like embroidery and even worked on the tapestries at Hampton Court. Phay has designed and produced her own range of contemporary lighting pendants for many years for retail outlets like Purves & Purves. In her spare time Phay is also a singer songwriter. As Phay was Innermost’s first full time in-house designer at their London studio, she has had input into most of the product ranges over the years. She says to relax from the fast pace of development at Innermost she likes to wind down practicing martial arts at the Shaolin Temple in London!
