We are proud to announce that Innermost products are now certified by ETL for North America. Testing is now complete and the majority of the range is available with the ETL mark of quality. In combination with our extended 3-year warranty, the ETL accreditation affirms Innermost’s dependability for the North American market.

Inn-terested to hear more?

As part of our continued commitment to North America we have switched all our testing from UL (United Laboratories) to Intertek’s ETL (Electrical Testing Laboratory) for the USA and Canada.

What is the difference between UL and ETL certification?

ETL and UL are equally recognised and accepted to signify that a product has been independently and rigorously tested by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL). While both marks demonstrate that a product has met exacting safety standards, as approved by the Occupational Health Safety Association (OHSA), the efficiency of the Intertek testing labs behind the ETL means testing is quicker and more cost-effective. Not only will this allow Innermost to bring products to market faster, but the ETL accreditation can be extended to virtually all Innermost products.

Having tested with UL in the past, the newest products, like Circus and Glaze, are now certified by the Intertek NRTL, with eETLus for the US and cETLus for Canada. Innermost’s historic UL listings (E233312 & E233313) are still valid, but new products will now be supplied with the ETL mark.
